TIM MCGRAW TO RELEASE 11TH ALBUM - LET IT GO- MARCH 27
NASHVILLE- (Jan. 5, 2007) – Tim McGraw, Grammy, ACM, CMA, People’s Choice Award winner and more, will release one of 2007’s most anticipated albums on March 27. Let It Go (Curb Records) is his first studio album in nearly 3 years. In March 2006, Reflected: Greatest Hits V. 2, became McGraw’s ninth consecutive album to debut at the #1 spot on the Billboard Country Albums chart, while his previous studio album Live Like You Were Dying, released in 2004, debuted with a career high in sales of 766,000 copies in just its first week. To date, it has sold nearly 4 million copies. "I am really excited about this new studio album," says McGraw. "It was great to work with Byron Gallimore, Darran Smith and my band in the studio again and to build upon our work together." Let It Go was recorded in Nashville and is co-produced by McGraw, Byron Gallimore and Darran Smith. McGraw again enlisted the help of his touring band The Dancehall Doctors on the project, which is now their third consecutive project. The album’s first single "Last Dollar," written by Big Kenny of Big & Rich, kicked off the New Year as the first played video of 2007 on CMT. The album contains 13 tracks: "Last Dollar," "I’m Workin’," "Let It Go," "Whiskey and You," "Suspicions," "Kristofferson," "Put Your Loving On Me," "Nothin’ To Die For," "Between The River and Me," "Train #10," "I Need You," "Comin’ Home," and "Shotgun Rider." Faith Hill appears on two tracks, "Shotgun Rider" and "I Need You," which was the smashing encore song during their history making 2006 "Soul2Soul II Tour." McGraw co-penned tune "Train #10." Tim McGraw has spent more than the last decade in the upper reaches of the entertainment world. His career is marked by multi-platinum albums, record-breaking tours, "Soul2Soul II"in 2006 made country music history as the highest grossing tour ever, and most recently by an expanded presence in movies with his first role in 2004’s Friday Night Lights followed by last year’s family hit Flicka and the upcoming The Kingdom with Jamie Foxx and In The Valley of Elah, which will film in early 2007. In 2006, he co-ventured with longtime music producer Gallimore to form their own record label, StyleSonic Records. The label’s first release found them partnered with Fox 2000 and Curb Records for the soundtrack from the motion picture Flicka, released in October 2006. The single from Flicka, "My Little Girl," co-penned by McGraw and Tom Douglas, has been nominated for a Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Song in A Motion Picture. His career has charted 26 #1 singles and sold 34 million albums. McGraw filmed 3 highly rated NBC Television Specials and his award collection to date include 3 Grammys, 11 Academy of Country Music awards, 10 Country Music Association awards, 9 American Music awards, 3 People's Choice awards and more.

TIM McGRAW AND FAITH HILL'S 'SOUL2SOUL TOUR 2007' PRESENTED BY JEEP® PICKS UP WHERE IT LEFT OFF SETTING BOX OFFICE RECORDS FOR ATTENDANCE AND GROSS
NASHVILLE- June 13, 2007- Pollstar’s 2006 Tour of the Year, and the most successful tour in country music history, “Jeep Presents Soul2Soul Tour 2007,” rolled through three shows last week like a freight train setting box office records for attendance and gross for the tour’s first week out.
Nearly 50,000 fans enjoyed non-stop entertainment with the MyGIG outdoor stage, Preshow Party, opening acts and Tim and Faith. The tour also established a new record gross during both its 2-day stop in Omaha and single day play in St. Paul for a single country show, according the Excel Energy Center. The tour is sponsored by Jeep and the tour promoter is Live Nation.
The Minneapolis Star claimed, “hadn’t seen husband-and-wife sexual sparks on stage like that since Kris Kristofferson and Rita Coolidge 30 some years ago.” And the Pioneer Press stated the concert had “high-wattage entertainment from two performers at the top of their game.”
Behind the scenes at the “Jeep Presents Soul2Soul Tour 2007” is a circus. With the largest most complex touring production, things are always wild and crazy. But literally this year backstage at the kick-off during the two-day run in Omaha was a zoo with giraffes, zebras, tigers and monkeys as the Ringling Brothers Circus was starting to set up early for a run in Omaha. “We were fortunate this wasn’t closing night because we know someone would be tempted to bring some of the animals on stage,” said tour representatives.

NewsNewsMCGRAW'S "IF YOU'RE READING THIS" RELEASED TO RADIO
NASHVILLE- June 11, 2007- Tim McGraw’s moving tribute to families of fallen hero’s, “If You’re Reading This,” is being released immediately as a remixed and newly mastered recording from his show-stopping performance on this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards. Simultaneously Curb Records will continue to work McGraw’s hit duet single with Faith Hill, “I Need You,” which currently is bulleted at number 14 on the country radio charts.
“I want to thank thingy clark productions, the Academy of Country Music and Curb Records for working with us to make this happen. It’s clear that all Americans have responded to this song and it is fitting that we were all able to work together quickly to release this record,” said manager Scott Siman. “I have had a lot of industry people ask why Tim would choose to do something other than his current single on an awards show. I think it takes a true artist with vision to look beyond the status quo and see what might exist by stretching the boundaries.”
McGraw worked with producer Byron Gallimore just prior to launching the “Soul2Soul 2007 Tour” to remix and master the televised performance. Country radio stations immediately began playing the televised performance turning it into one of the hottest records of the year. McGraw has been performing the song live on the tour where it has quickly become one of the concert highlights.

Thanks for the posts. The tour sounds amazing. Glad they decided to release if you're reading this to radio. Gotta say that I love the live version better.
